Vlow Terms of Service
Vlow is provided by Sichuan Zhaoyu Qiangpai Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (四川兆域强排智能科技有限公司, “we”, “us”). Registered address: Room 405, 4th Floor, Unit 1, Building 7, No. 188 Jinhe West 1st Street, Hi-tech Zone, Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Contact: zhuhuajun@zyqpai.cn.
1. Scope
These terms are an agreement between you and us covering the download, installation, sign-in and use of the Vlow software (Mac and Windows), our websites and paid services. Please read them before use; by using Vlow you accept them. If you are under 18, read them with a parent or guardian and get their consent.
2. Account
You sign in with an email verification code. Keep your email account and sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been misused.
3. The service
Vlow is local-first voice input software: speech recognition runs on your own computer. Cloud polish is an optional feature provided by Vlow. When Cloud polish is on, the recognised text (never the recording) is sent over an encrypted connection to our Cloud polish service to produce the polished result. Features of Free and Pro are described on the Pricing page and in the app.
4. Payment and licence
- Vlow Pro is a one-time purchase at the price shown at checkout (early-bird $69 USD). It does not renew automatically.
- Cloud polish is included with Pro (2,000 polishes per month) and is not sold separately. Earlier Cloud polish subscriptions will not renew and stay active until the end of the period already paid for.
- Each Pro licence may be used on up to 2 devices at the same time, by you only; it may not be resold, rented or shared.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Vlow for anything unlawful or that infringes others’ rights, and do not reverse-engineer the software, crack the licence or bypass the device limit. If you do, we may suspend or end the relevant service.
6. Third-party services
Cloud polish is provided by us; part of the processing may be carried out by model service providers we engage. We require them to process the text only to produce the polished result and to keep it confidential and secure. Payment services are provided by Stripe and are subject to its terms.
7. Intellectual property
We own the copyright, trademarks and other rights in the Vlow software and websites. The text you produce with Vlow belongs to you.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service reliable, but recognition and polishing can contain errors — please check important text yourself. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the service concerned.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms and will publish the update on this page; material changes will be notified in a reasonable way. You may stop using Vlow at any time and ask us by email to delete your account.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). Disputes should first be settled amicably; failing that, they go to the competent people’s court where we are domiciled. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
