Voice translator for Mac and Windows: select text, press F3, say the language

Vlow is a voice-first desktop assistant for Mac and Windows. Press your talk key (F2 on Mac, Right Ctrl on Windows by default), speak, and clean text appears at your cursor in any app. It also takes voice notes, does voice calculations, and rewrites or translates selected text with F3. The free version gives unlimited local voice input forever; Pro is an optional yearly plan at US$69/year with no auto-renewal.

Try it free for 7 days: the trial includes 800 cloud polish uses, and F3 select-to-translate works during the trial. No payment needed; cloud polish and F3 translation need a one-time email sign-in. After the trial, translation is part of Pro (US$69/year, no auto-renewal), and free local dictation keeps working.

How translation works

  1. Translate what you select: select any text — an email, a chat message, a paragraph in a doc — press F3 and say “translate into Chinese” or “translate to English”. Vlow replaces the selection with the translation.
  2. Speak one language, type another: switch the dictation mode to Translate, speak in Chinese, and get English text at your cursor.
  3. Rewrite while you translate: add how it should sound — “translate to English and make it more formal”.

Where it works

Any app with a text field: Gmail, Outlook, Slack, WeChat, Word, Google Docs, browsers, code editors. No browser extension or copy-paste into a separate translator.
